Cavatast is a gastronomic and cava tasting fair that will take place on October the 5th, 6th and 7th 2018.
Nearly half hundred of cava makers and catering, charcuterie, pastry and chocolate companies serve more than 42.300 cava glasses and more than 22.000 gastronomic tastings to the thousands of visitors that Cavatast receives in just three days of the fair.
Therefore, Cavatast is an annual meeting point where cava lovers walk around the fair, glass in hand, enjoying the different cavas and culinary proposals that are presented. They try new products and discover others, but above all, they enjoy the festive atmosphere the fair transmits. At Cavatast, you can also have the chance to buy the products that you have already tasted without the need to move anywhere else.
Cavatast also provides other activites such as the visit to the Cava Interpretation Centre - CIC Fassina - and the cellars in town. This year, the "Cellar" form Fassina de Can Guineu distillery, has become again the neuralgic centre of activities of all kinds, from pairings and technical tastings to specialized workshops and other ways of promoting cava.
