On Wednesday June 19 the new RV park area of the municipality opened to the public, located just below the building of Can Ferrer, next to the Viviendas Vilarnau. During the last weeks the City Council of Sant Sadurní and the Penedès Consortium for tourist promotion carried out works of conditioning of the land, improvement of the zone for the access of the campers, channeling and installation of urban furniture.

The area has capacity for approximately ten vehicles of these characteristics and counts on a source of potable water and a point for the emptying of gray and black water, three tables of picnic with their banks and litter bins. The maximum stay cannot exceed the 48 hours and the rate is free. No reservations will be made.

There will be a wooded area, although the tree planting has been postponed until November, a much more favorable period and with more adequate temperatures for the trees to grow and prosper well.

The new San Sadurní area will be open 365 days a year in a quiet space and just 450m from the urban area with restaurants, shops and other tourist attractions. In addition, its location is optimal to enjoy nature, strolling or pedaling along the path to the Raventós i Blanc lake, which starts right next to the park area.
